Similar to the Patricio cello, the Patricio bass is an excellent student level instrument and is perfect for all levels of student musician. It is also an excellent choice for schools to purchase for their instrument library. Featuring nicely flamed maple laminated construction that will provide durability for years to come (hybrid bass with solid spruce top), Patricio also includes a fully arched top and back, inlaid purfling, solid ebony fingerboard, an adjustable end-pin, and brass tuning machines. The instrument is finished with a shaded reddish-brown oil-based varnish for added strength. The outfit includes a padded bag and Brazilwood bow. Standard set up includes an adjustable bridge and Helicore strings.
